Study on Effectiveness of Psychodrama for Adjustment to Society by Persons with Mental Disorders

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to search efficient intervention plan for adjustment to society by persons with mental disorders by verifying effectiveness of psychodrama for it. To accomplish this purpose, I executed the Preliminary Survey to verify feasibility of the psychodrama program that was first formed and did the amended and complemented psychodrama program based the result of it for persons with mental disorders. The applicable subjects are the persons who use the day rehabilitation program in the mental center of P City with more than 51 points of GAF. I divided the members who are treated with medications into experimental groups and control groups including 6 persons. And I executed the survey during 6 sessions. I verified how much psychodrama is useful for adjustment to society by persons with mental disorders by doing self-efficacy of the experimental groups and control groups and changes before and after adjusting to society. The result has found that psychodrama improves self-efficacy and adjustment to society by the persons with mental disorders. Finally, I suggested a proposal for the efficient plans to utilize psychodrama and the future studies for adjustment to society by the persons with mental disorders.
